The hardware stamping refers to the processing method for gaining the required shape and dimension work pieces by exerting external force on materials, such as plate and belt with punch and stamping dies and then making plastic deformation or separation. In consideration of technology, it can be divided into separation and forming process. The separation process, also called blanking, is aimed to separate hardware stamping parts from plates along certain contour line under the premise of meeting the requirements for quality of separation section. The forming process is aimed at plastic deformation on the basis of not destroying plate so as to form required shape and dimension. The blanking, bending, cutting, drawing, expansion, spinning and correction are main hardware stamping technologies. In actual production, several processes are often used for the same work piece integrally.
